This pixelgigs review will focus on the features and benefits as they pertain to small business.
PixelGigs SmartSuite Review
At the time of writing this pixelgigs review, the PixelGigs Smartsuite consisted of 9 active applications that a typical applications small business will either already being using, or should be using.
These applications are:
- PixelCRM – contact management
Similar to salesforce.com and other CRM programs PixelCRM is a fully featured contact relationship management tool. It allow multiple users to collaborate and input leads , accounts, contacts so that information is available at the fingertips of those you need to know. In this short pixelgigs review we cannot go into all the functionality of PixelCRM but strongly suggest you try it out for free.
- PixelMeeting – video conferencing
When you think of online video conferencing you think of Webex and GoToMeeting – well PixelMeeting can hold it’s own again either of these well known services, but at a fraction of the price. Being Flash based your participants will not be able to attend a meeting on their iPad, however, they will also not need to download and install any software to participate on their PC or Mac. This pixelgigs review is unable to do justice to this great application.
- PixelCampaign – email marketing
If your small business is not currently using any form of email marketing then you are missing out on a huge opportinity to grow your business. PixelCampaign allows a user to create as many lists as they need, with as many contacts as they have and to send up to 40,000 emails per month! Compared to other services such as ConstantContact this is huge. We would like to cover all the features in this pixelgigs review but there isn’t enough space. Suffice to say, everything you need to create and manage a full email campaign is included.
- PixelHost – website hosting
PixelHost will more than cover the needs of a small business as far as website hosting is concerned. The control panel is Plesk which is easy enough for most ordinary users to understand.
- PixelWebsite – website building
If you one of the millions of small businesses that still doesn’t have a website then there is PixelWebsite. Based on templates and using simple drag and drop elements, you can build a good looking website quickly and easily. It may not replace a well executed site developed by an experienced web designer and will still need optimizing in order to get found on the search engines but it’s a great first step.
- PixelMail – web email client
Like other online email clients you get the convenience of being to access your email from any computer anywhere in the world. During our pixelgigs review we found PixelMail to have a clean, easy to use interface with features that will that will meet all but the most demanding users’ needs.
- PixelShare – large file sharing
If you have to send large files to other people – and who doesn’t these days? then you will love PixelShare. Unlike other applications, such as YouSendIt, many of the extra features are built right into the application so no hidden costs. You can send up to 2GB files securely and even get a delivery confirmation.
- PixelVault – online backup
Online storage is becoming very popular and is probably the first experience of cloud computing that many people experience. PixelVault like the other applications in this pixelgigs review, offers all the features you’d find in a competing application but with some bonus features added. 50GB of online storage from multiple computers – that’s not something you’ll typically find form other providers.
- PixelRemote – remote computer access
During our pixelgigs review we were able to use PixelRemote to connect both to and from both PC and Mac computers. This allows users to get support for computer issues from experts without having to leave their office.
- PixelTimeClock – web time clock – at the time of writing this pixelgigs review, PixelTimeClock was still in development so check back soon.
Other applications, such as PixelPassword, PixelEvents, are already in development at Pixel Labs but are beyond this pixelgigs review at this point.
The PixelGigs SmartSuite Review Conclusion
In this pixelgigs review we covered the main benefits the pixelgigs smartsuite could bring to a typical small business. At the modest monthly fee, the smartuite is a bargain for any business, even if they would not immediately use every application in the suite. A business need only use 2 or 3 of the applications to see not only cost savings but additional benefits over services they probably already subscribe to.
Hopefully this pixelgigs review will have given you enough reason to try the 15 days free trial – you don’t even need to provide credit card details – you can just try everything for 15 days. (If asked, tell them the pixelgigs review sent you!)
The bottom line: While you may find individual applications that offer more – you will not find a more comprehensive and economic solution than the SmartSuite covered in this pixelgigs review.
